Privacy Policy

Crossline is a service operated by Skelvon LLC ("we", "us"). It connects a Discord channel to people who follow and reply to that channel by text message. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

We do not sell or share your mobile number. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.

What we collect

Your phone number, when you text Crossline or an admin sends you an invite.
The name you choose to show on your messages.
Messages you send to Crossline and messages we deliver to you, along with delivery status.
Consent records: when and how you joined, left, texted STOP, or texted START.
Your settings, such as quiet hours and pauses.
Discord information for people who post in a connected channel: their Discord user ID and display name, so their name can appear on the texts we send.

How we use it

To deliver channel messages to your phone and post your replies in the channel.
To honor your choices, including STOP, LEAVE, PAUSE, and quiet hours.
To keep a record of consent, as required by phone carriers and applicable law.
To prevent abuse, fix problems, and keep the service running.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not send marketing texts.

Who can see your messages

Crossline is a group conversation. Texts you send are posted in the connected Discord channel under the name you chose, where anyone who can read that channel can see them. They are also delivered to the other people following the channel by text. Your full phone number is never shown to other members. Server admins see only its last four digits.

Service providers

We share information only with the providers we need to run Crossline, and only for that purpose:

SMS providers (such as Twilio) to send and receive text messages.
Discord, to post your messages in the connected channel. Discord handles that content under its own privacy policy.
Hosting and database providers that store our data on our behalf.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users or the public.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you use Crossline and as long as needed to run the service. Consent records, including STOP requests, are kept so we can continue to honor them and show compliance. Messages already posted in Discord stay there unless they are deleted in Discord.

Your choices

Text STOP at any time to stop all texts from Crossline.
Text LEAVE to stop texts from one channel.
Text NAME followed by a new name to change how you appear.
Email support@crossline.stream to ask what we hold about you or to request deletion. We will keep only what we must, such as a record that you opted out.

Children

Crossline is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and restricted access. No system is perfectly secure.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Significant changes will be posted on this site before they take effect.
