Terms of Service
Last updated October 2, 2026
These terms apply to Crossline, a service operated by Skelvon Labs LLC ("we", "us"). By texting Crossline or adding it to a Discord server, a Telegram group, or a Slack workspace, you agree to them.
What Crossline does
Crossline links Discord channels, Telegram groups, Slack channels, and people who follow by text message into one conversation. A message posted in one connected chat is posted in the others and texted to the people who opted in, and their text replies are posted in every connected chat and sent to the others following by text.
Text messaging program
Program name: Crossline
Description: Messages from the Discord channel you chose to follow and any Telegram group or other channel bridged with it, plus replies to your keywords.
Opt in: Text JOIN to the Crossline number from your own phone. Nobody can enroll you or send you an invite.
Frequency: Message frequency varies with channel activity, up to 36 text segments per hour.
Cost: Crossline is free for people who follow a channel by text. Message and data rates may apply. Servers may pay a subscription to connect a channel.
Opt out: Text STOP at any time. You will get one confirmation and no further texts. Text START to resubscribe.
Help: Text HELP, or email support@crossline.stream.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Crossline works with major US carriers, but delivery is not guaranteed.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old, and if you are under 18 you need a parent or guardian's permission. You must be the account holder for the phone number you use, or have the account holder's permission.
What you post
Messages you send are visible to everyone in the connected channel and everyone following it by text. You are responsible for what you send. Don't use Crossline to send spam, harass people, share content that isn't yours to share, or break the law or the rules of Discord, Telegram, or Slack. Server admins can remove you from a channel, and we can suspend access for misuse.
Server and group admins
If you connect a Discord server, join a Telegram group, or install Crossline in a Slack workspace to a conversation, you confirm you are allowed to manage it and that you will not add phone numbers for anyone. People who want the texts send JOIN themselves. Joining a Telegram group means its messages are posted in the other connected chats and texted to the people following them, under the group's name; a group admin can end that at any time with /crossline leave. Installing Crossline in a Slack workspace, or adding it to a channel, means that channel's messages are posted in the other connected chats, and texted to the people following them if the conversation has phones, under the author's name and the workspace's name. A workspace admin can end that for one channel with /crossline bridge leave, or for the whole workspace by removing the Crossline app, which takes every channel of that workspace out of its bridge. You confirm you are allowed to install apps in that workspace and that Slack's own terms permit what you connect.
Texting rules
Carriers set rules for what may be sent by text, and they fine the sender, which is Skelvon Labs LLC, for violations. So these are not texted, whoever posts them: sexual content; hate; cannabis and CBD; illegal drugs; gambling; phishing, scams, and fraud; payday loans, debt relief, and other high-risk financial offers; third-party debt collection; and, because carriers allow them only to age-verified recipients, alcohol, firearms, tobacco, and vaping. Advertisements are not texted either, whoever posts them: state telemarketing laws treat a marketing text as a solicitation that needs the recipient's consent to that business or a state registration, and phones that follow a channel agreed to its conversation, not to hear from a business. An ad still posts in the channel, its author is told, and it is not held against the server. Every message bound for a phone is checked by an automated screen before it is sent. A message that fails is not texted, and its author is told; it still posts in the channel. A channel that repeatedly produces prohibited content is paused for review by Crossline, and may be suspended or have texting removed. If you connect a server for texting, you agree that your server is responsible for what its members send to phones, that you will act on what Crossline tells you, and that your server will reimburse Skelvon Labs LLC for carrier fines caused by prohibited content its moderators posted or that it kept posting after Crossline told it to stop.
Texting rules version 2026-10-02. Connecting a server for texting asks the admin to agree to this version; a new version asks again.
